SOMETIMES WHAT WE ATTEMPT TO BUILD, ENDS UP BUILDING US...

STELIOS KARAKONSTANTIS
I started as a martial artist assuming that the 15 years of training I had been doing would be enough. The lessons, skills and values I learned would prove to carry me far throughout the rest of my life until eventually I began teaching the very thing that was still teaching me. But like most things time will either promote you or expose you and I began to see that I had learned more of what not to do instead of what should be done. This left me with a decision to leave the previous organization I was involved with and pivot realizing that the capability I had acquired through my previous training had given me opportunity as well as purpose. I wanted to share my experiences with others who were willing to reciprocate so I packed up what I had in my car and began training people house by house.
I then risked it all and left what most would call a "financially stable situation" for something else more worthwhile. With no support or guarantees I went down a path of self-discovery eventually finding a space that needed to be ready in less than 30 days. The space where we currently reside is thus a physical manifestation of what was given then and what is required now.
Since then, I've trained a variety of individuals over the years most of which have been first responders and military. l began to learn quickly that training is negotiating and a tool to unlock the mind in order to prepare for things that are much more important than merely aesthetics . I've dedicated my life to provide those who are willing the opportunity to sharpen the tools they already possess and add more to their arsenal. I continue to practice that which allows me to be prepared and others that wish to join mein that practice will only enhance the experience.

Training is everything to me. I have worked with clients for over 10 years now, and no matter where life has taken me, training has and always will be sacred to me. Training is a direct battle between you and the task at hand... a moment in time in which you can fully experience the greatest and darkest parts of yourself. Together, we will step into that darkness and bring out everything you have... one rep at a time. I am here to develop your muscles, your mind and your spirit. My mission is to tap into your inner strength, push you to your maximum and demolish your limitations…all while smiling at the joy of the experience.
Let’s do it.
Fitness has been part of my lifestyle since the very beginning and since then I have developed over a decade of experience in CrossFit training. My training through that process has brought me to higher levels of competition where I placed 8th in the teenage division at the 2019 Crossfit games while also becoming The Youth Virginia state Olympic weight lifting champion. While competing I realized that there was still more to learn and the practical application of training needed to be supplemented. I then decided to study at Adelphi University where I graduated with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science. During that time I've spent the last four summers coaching kids at my gym back in Virginia Beach, honing my skills in youth fitness instruction. I'm eager to meet everyone joining us this summer to share the experiences and lessons I've learned with everyone.

With a lifelong passion for fitness and athletic performance, I bring a wealth of experience to the gym. Having played ice hockey for most of my life, I developed a deep understanding of discipline, teamwork, and the physical demands of high-level sports. This background inspired a commitment to strength training and powerlifting, where I have excelled with impressive max lifts, including a 465-pound back squat, a 540-pound deadlift, and a 300-pound bench press. All at 160 pounds body weight.
As an experienced gym-goer and competitive powerlifter, I specialize in building programs that enhance strength, power, and athletic performance. Whether you’re an athlete looking to improve explosive power and mobility or someone starting your fitness journey, I have the knowledge and hands-on experience to help you reach your goals.
With a strong foundation in strength training and a lifelong dedication to fitness, I am here to empower you to push limits, achieve new milestones, and build lasting confidence in your abilities.

Fitness and competing have always been a part of my life. As a highly athletic child, my passion grew from a young age through adulthood. I thought I had reached my highest potential, until I began my career in Federal Law Enforcement. I realized the odds were against me, standing at 4'11" and 110 pounds. It was pivotal for me to remain in top physical condition so that I could be effective and safe in my missions, as well as being a reliable asset. I was driven to become stronger and push myself to exceed expectations.
In 2015, I decided to join Crossfit to help prepare myself for my first academy. What first seemed so intimidating to me, evolved into a passion. It challenged me physically, mentally, and taught me how to push myself beyond my comfort zone. Fast forward 10 years - I have successfully completed 3 different law enforcement academies. I became one of the highest performing trainees in physical conditioning, and was awarded for maxing out my physical fitness scores in each academy.
With countless training sessions, skills/ techniques learned, and law enforcement experience gained, I am here today dedicated to help others expand their comfort zones and find their greatness. Through personalized training, I will help you achieve peak physical performance and enhanced mental resilience.
Don't let doubt destroy your daring. You are capable of more than you know.

THE SUPPORT
This journey started from humble beginnings, and since then the people and the experiences we have shared together have made us even more humble. The facility has continued to grow and change but what we value hasn't. They are the reason we are still here, along with the people who have followed us this far with their unyielding trust and support. Since then, we've come to realize that we attract those who seek and value the same things; a meaningful purpose, a supportive community and a means towards accountability. The common thread that binds this all together is our training, because we believe that it's not only transformative for ourselves but also the ones around us; a vessel that creates friendships from hardships. There is a mutual understanding; a shared suffering and a joint respect for ourselves and the ones around us. These aren't preferences, these are our standards and expectations. Have a willingness to learn, commit to the process, and accept the responsibility of your actions.

With a strong foundation in strength training and a lifelong dedication to fitness, I am here to empower you to push limits, achieve new milestones, and build lasting confidence in your abilities.
As a personal trainer with a background in Law Enforcement, I bring a unique blend of experience and discipline to my training approach. From an early age, I thrived as an athlete, but it wasn’t until I pursued law enforcement that I realized just how far I could push myself. Standing at 4'11" and 120 lbs, I’ve proven that size is no barrier to achieving peak performance. Having served in both Customs and Border Protection and the US Secret Service, I faced high-pressure and physically demanding situations, where peak physical conditioning was essential. Strength, speed, and resilience weren’t just goals; they were vital to survival and success.
In 2015, I joined CrossFit to prepare for my first academy—what started as a challenge, quickly became a passion. It shaped me physically and mentally, pushing me beyond my limits. Fast forward 10 years—I completed three law enforcement academies, earning recognition as one of the top trainees in physical conditioning and maxing out my fitness scores, proving that size is no limitation when discipline and drive take over.
My journey in law enforcement taught me the power of mental toughness and physical conditioning—lessons I now apply to guide clients to achieve peak physical performance, enhanced mental resilience, and the confidence to conquer any challenge.
Don't let doubt destroy your daring. You are capable of more than you know.
